“Concealed Carry and Revealed Obligations”

justiceOctober 1, 2015 —This conference will provide the participant with a comprehensive program on some of the legal and ethical challenges they currently experience while providing services to their clients from the perspective of an experienced attorney who is also a social worker. Participants will be awarded a minimum of three hours of continuing education in ethics. Our Organization

The Human Services Education Council, Inc. (HSEC) is a not-for-profit volunteer organization of professionals who plan, develop and offer high quality, low-cost conferences for professional human services providers in Central Illinois. This organization has been in existence since 1978 and has provided education to thousands of professionals throughout Illinois. HSEC collaborates with local groups to sponsor professional educational conferences each year, offering continuing education credits/hours to human services professionals. HSEC members do not receive compensation for their time in planning conferences. HSEC members hold monthly meetings at a central location in Springfield for planning purposes. New members are welcome and have the opportunity to offer ideas for future presenters and topics.
